OVERDOSE NUCLEAR: Signs with Bigorna Records for new album release; check out cover art and tracklis

The representatives of Mangue Metal OVERDOSE NUCLEAR, from Ubatuba, northern coast of São Paulo, divulge the cover and track list of their new album, "Metal do Mangue". The work will have nine songs, one of them being a cover song not yet divulged and two tracks with special participations. The CD release will be released on the Bigorna Records label, specialized in Metal in Portuguese, thus aligning with the band's proposal. At the same time, OVERDOSE NUCLEAR is looking for partners to release the work on vinyl, which will be released on the second semester of this year. The cover artwork was created by Marcelo Dod.

Julio Candinho (vocals), Marcus Goulart (guitar), Gustavo Albado (bass) and Rodrigo Kusayama (drums) were inspired by the pandemic's forced introspection to dive into their roots and present their "Mangue Metal": "In the lyrics we approach themes from our local reality, such as the destruction of the environment and human degradation in general, with a lot of criticism and the already known horror of Overdose Nuclear. And that's what the cover is, the representation of our fighting spirit in an anthropomorphic form. And some of the new songs will already be presented in the group's next show, on June 29th, when the group will share the stage with Manger Cadavre? in São José dos Campos/SP opening the Crypta show, in an event at Hocus Pocus, starting at 7pm.
